Many people starting their journey with the gym often ask themselves : what supplements should we take? There are many supplements available on the market and plenty suitable for begginers. It always depends on the effect we want to achieve, as some people's priority is to loose fat and others' to gain muscle. One that is perfect for every gym begginer is multivitamin. Although it might sound simple, multivitamin helps with things such as protein and fat metabolism(such as the B vitamins) or protection of one's muscles and the rest of the body from cellular damage(C and E vitamins). Another supplement that is known to most of peolpe is whey protein. It can be taken before and after workouts and this fast-digesting protein provides us with amino acids needed to build muscle protein. It starts the process of building our muscles and builds blocks for making more. Creatine is a perfect supplement for people who workout with weights and need as much energy as they can get. This amino acid-like supplement provides quick energy we need, allows our muscles to hold more water, making them fuller and stronger, which finally leads to additional growth of our muscles. All those supplements are perfectly safe and while sticking to the dosage suggested by the manufacturer we can achieve good results.

What strikes me is that the goals people are after (losing weight and building muscles) could and should be achieved without artificial help. Our body adapts to increased supply of these substances, which cannot be without consequences.
